Malivoire Small Lot Chardonnay

Pouring pale straw-coloured, it’s clean, fresh, crisp and crunchy. Aromas present white peach, lime zest, quince and shortbread; flavours echo meyer lemon, grapefruit and bosc pear, with a soft, gingery spice holding through the finish.

Chardonnay grapes were hand-picked from the quartercentury-old vines of our Moira Vineyard site, and chardonnay musque from the Malivoire Estate.

After pressing, 70% of the juice underwent primary and partial malo-lactic fermentation in stainless steel. The other 30%, fermented in older neutral oak barrels, was blended-in three months later. 396 cases were bottled in August 2025.
