Can I use my Gift Card or Credit on Account for online purchases?
Not at this time. Gift cards and credits are redeemable in-person at our Retail Store. If you’d like to place a delivery order using your credit, please give us a call and our team will get you set up!
Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?
While we prefer that someone is available to receive your order in person, we understand that isn't always possible.
If you won’t be home, we kindly ask that you leave a cooler in a visible, shaded area for our driver. This ensures your food stays fresh and protects your items from local wildlife or pets.
Please note that Red Apron is not responsible for items left unattended without a cooler.
Is there a minimum order amount for delivery?
Delivery orders require a minimum subtotal of $50.
Can I pickup my meals rather than having them delivered?
We love seeing our customers in person!
You are always welcome to visit us at 410 Gladstone Ave and browse our entire store.
Unfortunately, due to space limitations we are unable to hold orders for pick up at our store.
When will my order be delivered?
We deliver on weekdays (Monday through Friday). Most orders are delivered on the following business day between 10:30 AM and 4:00 PM.
Delivery times can change from order to order based on the number deliveries each day.
Please note that orders placed on Friday or over the weekend will be scheduled for delivery on the following Monday.
How much does delivery cost?
Our delivery fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery address. Delivery fees range from $10.50 to $20 depending on the area.
To see your specific rate, add items to the cart and then enter your shipping details. You can review the final delivery total before completing your purchase.
Can you deliver to my place of work?
If our drivers are able to leave your order with a centralized reception or shipping area that is easily accessible we can deliver to your place of work.
Please note that our drivers are not able to wait for you to come to receive the meal. Deliveries are completed by 4:30pm.

How long do the meals last?
Fresh meals are best enjoyed within three days of delivery. Frozen meals, if kept in the freezer, can be enjoyed up to 3 months after delivery.
What if i have food allergies or don't like a particular ingredient?
We want everyone to enjoy our food safely! However, please be aware that our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, and other allergens daily.
Because we prepare our Fresh Meal Service in large batches, we are unable to make individual substitutions. If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy, we recommend not consuming our meals as we cannot guarantee a cross-contamination-free environment.
For those with sensitivities, our Gourmet Shoppe offers many selections labeled for convenience (GF, DF, V, Vegan). Since we don’t have an automated system to track your specific dietary needs, we ask that you check the ingredients with every new order.
Where can I find heating instructions?
Heating suggestions for our meals are provided on each container. Note: the reheating times on our container labels are approximate.
How do the Blue Friendlier Containers work?
Delivery clients can leave their washed containers, stacked and sorted, in a cooler or on the front porch for our drivers to collect during the next delivery.
Friendlier containers can be returned for financial incentive. Follow the instructions below to sign up for an account, start scanning your containers and direct your financial incentive!
The Red Apron donates the incentive from any unscanned containers to local community organizations.
Downloaded the Friendlier App from the Google Play or Apple app stores, to start scanning QR codes on the bottom of your Friendlier containers.
- Clean and return the container to a Friendlier collection bin, including those located at the Red Apron. If you are a Red Apron delivery client, you can leave your washed containers, stacked and sorted, in your cooler or on your front porch for our driver to collect.
- Friendlier Company will sanitize the containers and return them to the Red Apron to be re-used.
- You’ll receive a credit, or the money can be donated to a charity of your choice.
- If you choose to return the containers un-scanned, then the Red Apron will scan the containers and donate the money to a local charity.
